The Qurʾān: Proper Respect and Manners - آداب القرآن
We agree with the Islamic traditional view that ʿilm (knowledge) without ʾadab (manners, lit., self-restraint) is of no use, i.e., that knowledge goes hand in hand with manners. The two are inextricably connected and cannot be separated from one another. Therefore, it is essential that the proper etiquettes of the Qurʾān be observed.
